LEE rifle sizing die instructions

I have a LEE 308 full length rifle sizing die and for the life of me cannot find the instructions for setting it up in the press. :banghead:
Does any one out there have instructions and can tell me how the dies sets into the press? I know you turn it down to the raised ram w/ the shell holder on the ram, but do you go an 1/8 of a turn after it touches the shell holder ? a 1/4 turn, or a 1/2 turn? Thanks for your help! :beerchug:

I will generally back the die off 1/4 to 1/2 turn. then run a case through and see if it will chamber in the rifle that will use that particular ammo. If it doesn't fit, turn the die in a little at a time, and recheck until its satisfactory. Don't use the same piece of brass over and over, though: resize the test pieces AFTER the trial.

If you're loading for multiple rifles, then either keep marked sample brass to reset your dies or use the most sized sample as you default setting- that will work for everything, but might decrease case life a bit.

Folks will do this set-up a bit differently, depending on temperment and circumstance. I don't even run the same procedures all the time- it depends on what the end goal is going to be- plenty of ammo, bench rest accuracy, maximum case life, reliability, cheapness, etc.!
