I know it sounds good when you say it fast but, does anyone remember the Korean Bayonets that came in the country around the mid 80's or so????
They were so horrible because they had been re-sharpened so much there wasn't hardly any blade left:banghead:. I did buy some to get latching parts to repair some "Sporterized" M5A1's I had picked up Flea markets but, the rest was trash. M1's were the same way. Shortened to the point (no pun intended) of being useless and ugly. They were beautifully Parkerized and some were sealed in foil pouches to make you think they were new:super:.
All I'm saying is, don't get yourself so built up that you get a big let down.

It's interesting when Orest is asked about limiting purchase amounts, he responds that that "won't be necessary". It could mean that they have tons of them OR the price will be so high that a lot of us will pass.
When asked about the price, Orest said
"no pricing until we receive them and inspect them. "
and again later..
"no hints - and prices will be 'fair market value'. you can check around now and see what others are charging to get a ballpark idea."

you wouldn't have thought so at the time.. i hated the cut down bayonets. there were a bunch of 10'' inchers cut to 6 inches. they were practicaly giving them away till people relized they were worth mofre as parts. you got grips/scales, grip screw, catch, spring, and the hinge bar, for under 10 bucks... wonder what pattern they will b.? m5? or cut 10'' ers...?
I guess I had better catalog and sell those remaining in my collection since I am moving on to just Garand rifles.
