The recent NRA magazine's article on Remington Model 10 trench shotguns was apparently just a skosh off. Looking at one (US marked trenchgun) right now that is one S/N digit higher than is in the "range". Freaky! :cheers:

Does the article mean that a model 10 remington with a sr# between 117731-165566 with a "U" prefix was a military shot gun at one time?
Not all of them, just certain ones. Some few trench and riot guns for military use, the rest were regular sporting models, plus -possibly- a few riot guns for police.
