/2's and /3's
I'm working on a little project, and have been trying to find numbers on the breakdown between the /2 and /3 conversions. There were, it seems, 360,000 odd total of these conversions. Any idea on what the percentage breakdown between them was?
The No. 4 MK1 production total was 49% and the No. 4 Mk1* was 51%,
(leaving out the '49-'50 LB run) of the total WWII production; Did the conversion numbers follow these percentages? Any published data anywhere, or insight? Thanks,

limpetmine, Most of the Long Branch production stayed with Canadian troops, while Savage production primarily went to England. England then sent several of the Savages out to allies. Most of those probably weren't returned.
Informally (SWAG!) I'd say less than 20-30% of the Mk.2 conversions were 1/3s with Long Branch fewer than Savage based on what I've read/observed over the years.
