I have a 1958 POF #4 Mk.II & I was wondering about the correct accessories for it.
I have a POF made #9 bayonet & scabbard, but what other accessories?.
Did POF make their own slings?, oilers?, pull-throughs?, or did they use Commonwealth surplus items?. Does anyone know?.
I guess another question is where would these items be available?.

Gun shows in your area such as the Orangeville and Ancaster would be the ones which would be great for locating accessories.
Besides the obvious bayonet, sling, pull though and oiler that you mentioned, how about all of the kit the soldier would have worn?
I've been thinking about finding one of those "suit dummies" and building a display around it using the uniforms etc.
There are a ton of books you can buy showing the exact accoutrements and how they were worn.

Here's another that's probably one of the finest photographed reference books on Canadian military private collections I've ever seen.
Military Antiques and Collectables of the Great War - A Canadian Collection" J. Victor Taboika .
Plus, here's a few nice examples of 37 Pattern webbing from ~Angel~'s collection. It's amazing to see all of these individual items from the 1940's, stamped with government ownership military "broad arrow" markings, including the individual cigarettes stamped "HM Forces".

There are lots of holes in the information about POF stuff. Posting what you have here is a good start to getting a knowledge base going. :thup:
