Ishapore Bayonet Model?

I purchased a 12" unfullered Indian bayonet from IMA and when I opened the package I found a good condition model....HOWEVER...upon closer inspection I noticed that the left side of the bayonet blade was marked with the crown, Mk II, 12 43, and RFI- all very deeply and crisply stamped while the right side had "DD" on the crossguard and faintly stamped "PP" "IS 325" and "IS 383". The scales were dirty with a white stripe around the middle, and the top of the blade had a 2" false edge.

The stamps on the right side of the blade is not of consistent quality with those on the left and the false edge, lack of fullers, and square pommel lead me to believe that the bayonet is a Mk III approved in 1947 and could not be a Mk II with a date of 12 43.

Am I on the right track here and has someone become overly energetic with a set of stamps?

THese blades come with a hodge podge of marks, the MkIII has the square crude hilt but often comes with MkII marked blades
