Greek Mannlicher-Schönauer

Hi All,
I have a "1930 system 30" action of a Mannlicher-Schönauer. It was originally a 6.5 caliber. The barrel was shot out bad. I would like to rebarrel this action ( or I think I want to) and wondered 1. Is it worth doing? What or how do I tell if the action is ok? Hardness test? and 2. what are my options for calibers for this magazine. Where do you recommend I get a barrel? I will need to get a stock for this also as I have only the action and a cut off barrel.
