Part needed for v1 webly revoler

Hello all what I have is a 1918 markv webley revolver, the cylinder has been shaved to .45acp the part I'm looking for is the spring that holds the top strap retainer o latch mine is broke and since come up missing it was broke when I came across the revolver a couple of years ago but has since been sitting in the safe unroll a couple of months past I've successfully shot it with light loads and cut and formed 45 colt brass and cast 225 grain lee cowboy bullets it's a desnt shooter but would really like to find that spring any help would be greatly apreciated. We made those types of springs during our apprenticeship. The longer variant, the hammer spring was difficult to temper and the instructor used to close it up in a vice overnight. If it returned to shape the next morning, you passed. If it snapped, you started again. If it remained flat, you started the tempering process again by annealing it, hardening it and tempering it.

Any good gunsmith or Armourer will be able to make you another from a pieve of spring steel

Numrich ( e-gunparts.com ) had them last time a buddy ordered one a few months back. (He even got the right spring the first time!)

You might want to try posting in the Exchange of Parts and Bits of the Equipment Exchange of CanadianGunNutz (CGN). Someone there might have what you're looking for.
