guys, from these two not so good pictures, can you tell me what is wrong. i know the grips are wrong with the mag but, does the slide look right for the receiver. i understand that all parts should be marked with an S.

It looks like the slide was bead blasted or sand blasted and then refinished. Who knows what the extra letters and numbers designate.
id say the slide is a replacement, how bout a pic of the other side.
guys--- no need to look any closer----- the deal was called off. this 45 is not any where it should be--- not worth the money. thanks again for your help.
oh well, im always looking for SA slides if the price is right..
i find SA frames all the time..
FYI.... Not all parts, and sometimes even they were missed. It pays to know what you are looking at, as Springfield, just like any other manufacturer, have distinct differences, and machining finishes, in the manufacturing process.Quote:
