I have owned a Colt Hbar Sporter for 15 years. I got it 2nd hand from a farmer. Untill I joined this form I have never heard of the term Blue Label Colt. What does it mean, how do you tell if mine is one?

Here's a link that ought to help:

Ok, interesting!
There's no end to Colt "pick apart" variations and oddities, it seems.
I forget to look at the newer labels, the only newish box I can quickly lay hands on is for a 2008 vintage 6920, went and sold off the 6940 and H-bar Elite. Nobody seems to have picked up any newer slang term for the post 2004 Colts except, maybe, "no ban". Plus now the front hinge pin is standard size as well as the FCG pins.
Colts aren't oddball anymore!
BTW have seen some Diemaco(Canadian) parts on factory commercial Colts the past few years- mostly upper receivers.
Jmoore fascinating concept on the label table. Can you put serial numbers to colors though. Sure would be a great help. Thanks Jeff B
Diemaco was bought out by Colt and they're officially called Colt Canada now.
An older breakdown that was done (serial number dates are toward the bottom):
