M1A1 Prices

What price range does M1A1s that have gone through a rebuild bring compared to original ones?

Have a look at Tom Bowers' Subguns.com and that will give you an idea of those prices.

Have been halfway watching the on line auctions on these and the clean rebuilds appear to be going for around $1800-$2500. Originals from $3500-$4500 and up depending on type and condition. CMP auctions are field unto themselves. Others may have a different take.

I can't get my head around the CMP prices.
