Hard to believe, and then add $8.00 S/H.....Frank
Ah,come on now! That's a very reasonable price for an item from our favorite seller.:yikes: As for shipping and handling,That item is 60+yrs old. Must take special handling. :D
If I had that much money, I'd buy that $300 carbine in the other thread instead of a humped sight.
The IPN marking is in the wrong location!
$8.00 for S&H because "hey, this isn't Wal-Mart".
WTF are you kidding me!
M1 Carbine Irwin Pedersen front sight marked IPN in mint condition. Hard to find them like this one! We take pay pal. Shipping is 8.00
yeah it is hard to find like this one, because he is the only one who makes it
You know, I am not a collector, and will never restore a carbine either. This humping garbage, however, really p@sses me off. It is fraud and theft on a grand scale. Some of this stuff is so bad, even I can spot it and I am not an expert by any stretch of the imagination! (Like the IP trigger guards in the other thread).
Even though I have always owned a carbine for the last 28 years, I did not get into, or even care, what was "correct, etc" until I joined the old CSP forum around 3 years ago. I was just a carbine shooter. Humping was around then, but NOTHING like it is now with the proliferation of CMP weapons. I am sure you know who in California has a lawyer draw up the wording so it insinuates authenticity, etc. It is a shame that these folks are untouchable.
PS It is a shame when a guy like good old Bud Evers is taken down, but thieves and fakers run free...
I was stupid enough to buy a "Winchester Type 1" barrel band "with original green hue" from this guy for $135. The band was brand new and was covered with a greasy coating (not cosmoline) that smelled like gunpowder and left a black greasy residue on your fingers when it was handled. He refused my request for a return and refund because I had cleaned it with WD40. He didn't deny my claim that it was a reproduction fake part though. The only way to put these kind of guys out of business is to get the word out and then maybe idiots like me won't buy from him. So don't buy from Riverbank Armory in California unless you don't mind getting ripped off with fake parts at authentic prices. He sells on ebay and gunbroker under the name m1 carbineparts.com
