One of latest editions to the collection, the really interesting bit is the inspection tags are still present with the rifle. I have included a picture of each one. There seems to be a colour coding scheme employed on some of the tags as well.
If anyone is interested I can provide better photos of the tags.
Do you want the wording deciphered? Before I do, what is the district workshop number? Is it 27 or 34...., I can't read it properly. But RT - OK is Range Test OK!
Yes, Sir! The number is very hard to read but I would say it looks more like 27. I have tried to get a better picture.

I thought it might be 27 Commade/District workshop. It went there and was looacated job number NXU2123 and was in-inspected by David Lines. In keeping with the ISO standards, it was then marked with the green stripe on the tag. It had insufficient CHS and this is marked on the tag as insuf CHS together with the red stripe. The work was done and range tested so then it was marked as RT-OK....., Range Test OK
The telescope went to Les Alexander at the instrument shop via the Receipts and Issues bay (that's the RI number). The same sort of thing happened in the instrument shop.
Were matched back up at the Armourers shop and the telescope was then matched to the rifle and accuracy tested by (probably) Brian Sylvester and me and my son on a easy going Saturday morning

The mark in question is circled.
LOL.. Ahhhh Haaa, Ya see, I did read the question wrong! Happens to me all the time. That is a fantastic looking example and a great bonus with the added info from Peter.
