Beats me. Pete is a stand up guy. I have bought a few rifles from him and every one is "as described". I bought the HMS Canada (Mk.III) that was first advertized beside this one and am very happy with my purchase. So Like I say, beats me.

Possibly the Mk III rifles are a lot prettier and more desired? Honestly though, I'm surprised that rifle hasn't sold.
