I have done 5 or 6 for customers. The action fits BUT there is alot of room around it (read sloppy). You will have to cut out several point in the stock and fixing the rear of the action is the problem as the para stock has the recoil plate built in, which leaves nowhere to fix the Erma too . . . .The normal M1 stock is a better bet, with a metal vented hand guard looks the biz !
It's easier than it sounds. Take a 1/4x1/4"x2" stick and glue it to the right rear of the receiver channel. Place the rifle in the stock and determine were the rear screw will line up. Glue a small block of wood under that spote. When it dries drill a hole for the screw and your good to go. I've done several this way and have never had a problem or complaint.Quote:
