WTS: Norwegian reworked G33/40

Selling off the some of the collection of German mausers.

First on the block is a Norwegian rework G33/40 in excellent condition.

As with all Norwegian reworks, it has a mismatched bolt and the flat in the receiver with the POLITI # stamped into it. These were taken from the surrendering German units at the end of the war, refinished and then issued to the 'police/wardens' until surplussed. This one is from the batch that came into canada 15+ years ago through Things Military in Calgary and stayed with me ever since. Beautiful light blonde stock - eye catching appearance.

Ive handle this rifle back in september. Very nice overall condition. Buttplate is blued however, Stock is sanded, But still a nice specimin.

However, considering the cost of US, non reowrked, G33/40's and the cost of importing rifles, I dont think its a great deal. drop the price by 400 and I thinks its more fair. BUT im not 100% confident on this estimate. G33/40 are rare in Canada, unlike down south.
