looking for em1 experts?
if one is looking for m1 experts this is the place to go! but if someone is looking for info. on the erma / iver johnson 22 lr m1 carbine, where to go?? i have an m1 and a em1 as well. but was wondering if anyone knew of a club for these, or if any members here were collectors of these. with the cost of ammo as it is these little rifles are easier on the pocket book. tia. tator62

Erma Manufacturing is a US company. The other Erma EFM is a german company. There is no connection between the two.

yes, but which ones are the most valueable? the iver johnson marked erma`s were made in the 80`s, while the erma werke marked rifles were made in the 60`s and are not import marked?

Jimb is correct that they were two different companies, but actually, IJ imported them from Erma for a while and put their name on them.
Below is a fantastic web site put together by one of our members with more info on commercial carbines than anywhere.
This is the page for the EM1 -
Erma Werke
I have an IJ and an Erma (Erma top) - neat little guns.
I bought the first one for my son when he was small, and ran across the second one at a country gun shop. Just had to have it.
