barrel stampings

i came across this on gunbroker, im not interested in buying it, but on picture number 11 ,the stampings look very questionable . what are your thoughts on it, its also off center

looks just like an oddball to me, but the stuff on the mirror in #12???

I'm with FTD, I think it's an off center date stamp. I could use that trigger housing.....Frank
