This is a fine book with many photos, reproductions of paintings, drawings and maps. It chronicles the Royal canadian Navy from the early days before WW1 to the end of WW2.
There are many stories in the book, inculding an unbeliveable one of a brawl between the captian of a corvette and his first officer, on the bridge of the ship! I will leave you to dig up the details yourself.
There are also descriptions of the life aboard the vessels. i would not liked to have been on one of those corvettes in a north alantice storm. Uncomfortable in NOT the word!
All in all, this is a book well worthry of being in your library.
