Anticipation at guns shows has wained over the years for finding good pieces , but every once in a while it pays of to be diligent. I was bored and wandering the show and happened to look into a display case with a ton of pistols in it , and lo and behold I found the pistol. All of the numbers match, about 80-85% reasonably priced. About broke my thumb getting my wallet out!!!!!
Congratulations. When you get time, how 'bout some more details and photos?
You're right. Nice, orignal pieces are tough to find. I'm looking forward to seeing the one you picked up and hearing more about it...year, finish, markings...

Obviously the grips are not Norwegian M/1914 originals..... It's hard to tell from these pics..... but do the numbers match ????
Lovely. I'd like to have one, but the closest I've ever come was a 1914 slide.

I believe original M/1914 grips were made from white birch which is plentiful in Norway.

I think these are a pair of Norwegian grips I stumbled upon recently. They have had a dark finish applied a long time ago.
