I suppose this would be Northern Ireland since Southern Ireland was "neutral" but Nazi-sympathetic...?

I remember a Battle of Britain account that told of a situation where a British air patrol got too close to Southern Ireland and Irish AA gunners sent up a few desultory shots. The one Irish-born pilot in the group said, "Is that the best ye can do? You make us look bad!" over the radio to the rest of the pilots.
