Guys i thought i would just share this with you....this june 13 members of my UK reenactment and living history group represented the 79th Cross of Lorraine Division following their combat route from Utah Beach down to Lessay...and we recreated this famous picture of a 314th Inf regt mortar crew moving south down the D900 towards Lessay from La Haye Du Puits.... real nice then and now picture
