I am looking at a Colt SAA 1st generation made in 1880. A. It is my understanding that the SN should appear on the barrel. However only the last 3 digits of the SN appear on the barrel-is this correct or should the complete SN appear. B. I THINK I understand that the SN should also be on the cylinder - It does not- should the complete SN appear on the cylinder? THANKS
