Sorry, but nothing is "shown", and I do not think the experts here have ESP (some might have ESPN, but having access to a cable sports channel won't help much). Do you have photos you can post? What markings are apparently missing?

I'm tired and I have to go to bed, so I will quickly throw in my tuppence worth - nice looking rifle :) The only thing I see out of place is the rear sight - looks like it is graduated up to 800 yards, and that would be correct on a No.5 Mk.1, but not on a No.4 - the micrometer sights were marked up to 1300 yards.

Whats the bore like?
How many grooves?
Whats the bolt head number? Roughly speaking 4 is a well used or out of standards rifle and 0 is gooder, as in new sort of thing.
Does the bolt/receiver/barrel serial match? If they do it will keep its value better.
If you want 100% accurate, replace that rear sight with a 1300 yarder with a B on the upper left corner instead of the 800 yards, thats a dead giveaway for jungle carbine and not correct for this rifle. And of course we all really really got to have that 800 -1300 yards for most of our shooting too, lol,
Looks like a standard 1943 Maltby that someone - not military - has re-finished and restocked (Savage butt?). Front handguard needs adjusting, otherwise it'll probably foul the sight after a few shots. Does the bolt number match, and is it in the same font as the serial number on the butt socket?
It's an OK refinish. Any idea how the metal was refinished?
