If you have any interest in the Model of 1917, also referred to as the U.S. Enfield, you must get a copy of Ferris' book on the M1917. After several years of procrastinating, I have four other books of the subject, I purchased the Ferris. What a book, and I haven't even finished reading it! Buy one now.:bow:
