"Canadian Military Heritage Museum"
My wife and I did our annual summer road trip. This time we went through Ontario, Canada. We stayed overnight in Brantford, knowing the museum was there. Brantford is a nice town, we had a meal of fresh perch and walleye that was great. The next morning we went to the museum. It covers the Canadian Military in conflict from the war of 1812 to the present. I was totally impressed. It is one of the best I've been too. I realy enjoyed the layout and displays. I took it all in and we were there for a few hours. The sacrifice of the Canadian Army in WW1 Vinny, France left me empty. I took the time to read the roll of Canadian casualties in Iraq and Afganistan, so sad.
The staff was great, I got to meet Richard Shaver the chairman of the museum, he is a great guy and took the time to guide us through the museum. I would recomend everyone finding their way up there and check it out. You won't be disapointed.....Frank
