I bought an import carbine about twenty years ago with K.Art. on the recoil plate and in front of the rear sight. The slope of the receiver has been ground removing some hand stamps. I have seen one other like it over the years. I think I remember that K. Art stands for something like the name of army unit form Norway. Anybody remember?
I had heard it was a coastal artillery stamping from Norway, but I'm just going on hearsay. There was one up for sale a while back on GB, but I don't keep notes just go on memory.
