That looks great, I like the way you have used a mount that doesn't damage the action. Rather than drill into the original butt why not buy a new butt and fit the cheekpiece to that? You'll always have the untouched original parts that way.

Thanks Curly, I am one of those guys who strongly dislikes ruining perfection or shall we say " bubbatizing". Like you suggested, getting a seperate buttstock for the repro rest is a great idea.Quote:
