I'm not sure if it is a MK I or MK II yet.
UPDATE: It is a MK II.
It is listed for sale as a No1 Mk III converted to .22 RF even though it is not.
The asking price is $500.
I've never seen one before let alone seen one sell.
What is a fair price for one of these figuring it has a standard magazine?
Anything to watch out for with one of these?

You cant go wrong with .22 Enfield, I have a 1915 Sht .22 IV but am on the lookout for others. Have said it before but they are easy on the pocket and the shoulder.

Should the bolt or any other part be numbered like the No1, No4 and No5 Enfields I have seen?
An update of sorts....
Ok gang, I was able to stop in and take another look at this one today.
It looks to be a Rifle, RF Short Mk II for sure as it does not have finger grooves in the stock.
It has a standard magazine as I suspected it would.
It is MISSING the handguard and whatever retains it. It is also missing the piling swivel.
The front band on the rifle in the link in my first post looks different than this one as well. The picture almost looks like a two piece band and if that is the case it is missing the forward piece.
The butt stock is very loose in the socket fore and aft as well as laterally.
It has a complete volley sight set installed.
The S/N is A1XXX (I can't remember and I didn't remember to write it down.)
The receiver, barrel, forestock and butt all match. The bolt does not.
Are the piling swivel, handguard and front band available or are they made of unobtainium?
It should look like this: a "Long Lee" band with the bayonet bar removed. Piling swivels are easy. The handguard is the hard part-it's a cut down unit from a No.1 Mk.1 rifle with the integral sight protector. If you find two I'll buy the other one. A guard from a No.1 Mk. III will work in a pinch.
There is a nice fellow named Neil who can make you a 100% accurate handguard. I bought two from him a few years ago.

The front band looks correct now based on Steve's picture.
However, based on the link from JC5, it appears that a handguard and sight protector are going to be expensive!
How do the handguard and sight protector attach to the barrel?
The guard is held by spring clips like a No.1 rifle.
