RAF bayonet..IC?? Chapman
-
I just know that there wasn't an RAF in 1915............
-
It was overhauled, re-issued, I hope
-
I don't think it's a matter of being issued bright, more like it's been scrubbed bright.
-
One dealer here used to make a practice of buffing bright all the bayonets they had for sale.
Frog appears to be a Canadian MS&U one.
Scabbard may be an Australian MA one.

Have seen quite a few of the P-07 bayonets with RAF markings. Just because the RAF did not exist when bayonet was made, does not mean the RAF did not use them, especially in WW II.
