Having A extremely hard time find ammo locally for my type 99, no issue with the 38 though. Anybody have a decent place to buy it online? Anything besides Norma would make me happy

Thanks A lot I love these old rifles, very interesting to me but ammunition is a definite con in collecting Jap C&R
Grafs.com were the first to carry the Hornady ammo for 7.7 Japanese and others. I've gotten plenty from them.
Go for the Hornady...avoid the Precision Cartridge Co.
Why avoid PCI? not good quality?
I had a problem with a box of 7.7, and the guy who runs the place has been FAR less than helpful in dealing with the issue, even when I followed his instructions to the letter. I might post more if I ever get what he owes me.
The Hornady is great stuff. Knocked a blacktail deer off its feet last year with mine (2nd series Kokura). 75 Yard shot. It will print cloverleafs at 200 yrds with iron sights. I don't know if it's the rifle or me, but I would bet on the rifle....
I avoided the Japanese rifles for years until I found an all matching T-99 at the local flea market for $75.00. I cleaned her up and went to the range and I was very impressed with the way it would shoot so I went ahead and bought the dies and started to reload my own. I've since added another T-99 to the collection and she shoots very good also.:dancingbanana:
Yes they shoot good and reload easy using Lee dies and .311 bullets. Privi brass is good. Graf&sons has it.
