Gentlemen, (1 st post)-- I have a RFI bayonet (12 " blade) marked Mk II * but it has a Mk III square pommel & square wood grips that look like they should belong on a III. Looks like a mix. Is this common??:confused:

Very common, blades made for the II were used on the simpler to make III hilt, I use the hilt pattern and not the blade markings as the identifier.
