NPM Sight Opinions
I picked up this sight a a while back and would like to get some opinions on it.
The seller's description didn't mention the "TN" markings only the "S".
His photo's were poor, with flash glare. So I thought I was bidding on a regular flip
that would work on a couple of my guns. Mainly one of my S.G.'s.
I was pleasently surpirsed when it arrived and I saw it was an "NPM". Also it appears to be un-used.
There are no scratches on the base where it would slide into the dove tail.
The spring is bright blue and the pin still looks new.
My questions are. Do I actually have a NOS "NPM" sight? A rebuilt & re-parked one? Or a shiney new fake???

One of the better-ish shiny new fakes.

The fakes are getting better and better all the time but not quite good enough.

As much as I didn't want to hear it. Thanks for the verdict.
When I got it, I felt it was real and threw it in my parts drawer.
I hoped to use it as trading stock. Occasionally I would take it out and look it over.
Each time my confidence went down a little. I knew I couldn't do anything with it until I was 100% sure one way or the other.
I guess I can find solace in the fact that I was fooled by a "Good Fake" and there's one less on the market.
Thanks again,
Denny
