Indian 'Special' Enfield ?

Seeing as this guy also has a AK varient over his other shoulder, I'm guessing it has some sort of CS or baton round (rubber bullet) adapter fitted.

I'd guess baton rounds of some sort.

No matter what it is I would like to have one to keep my other Lee Enfields company.

I saw a similar rifle in 1969, it was a gas cylinder launcher and launched the cylinder with blanks. The cylinder fit over the barrel and was about 3 inches in diameter and around 10 inches long. It was also used to propel smoke cannisters.
I never used it but did see it used to propel smoke cannisters. Looked very similar. Only a few slight differences.

Enfield303T, pick up a grungey RFI sporter and make one. That one certainly looks like a make up.

I built one similar for a fellow that was training bird dogs to get used to the report of a firearm and fetch birds. He launched feathered balls of yarn from a cup screwed to the end of the barrel. Worked very well.
