I'm not familiar with this but did some looking around. They made a flash suppressor for this, not a muzzle break, so if you do a search for it, you'll probably have more luck with that. I expect it's similar to the flash suppressors on the Swedish mausers.
The bayonet should be a 1894 sword bayonet and/or any of the shorter alterations of the same.
The threaded end could also use a wooden practice bullet shredder and a muzzle cap.
Supposed to be a good rifle.
Hard to find a lot of info on Brazilian stuff. I have an engineers sword that I'm not having much luck learning about.
Are any of you guys interested in buying a Brazilian Mauser 30-06 Model 954?
I also have the bayonet for it. They used a gewehr K98 bayonet.

The Brazilian Mauser can only be purchased by a Canadian holding a valid PAL
Did you have any luck selling rifle?
The bayonet used on the Brazilian M954 is the M1908, M1934, M1935, and the M1924. The bayonet lug is shorter on the K98 rifles. I have two or three M954s rifles in my collection and a M1922, M1908, M1935, and an M968 in 7.62. They all have bayonet lugs for the Brazilian bayonets, but the M968 has a muzzle break that will take the socket bayonet found on the FN FAL.
