Not that I have been paying attention or watching them. The average selling price of the last 10 UNQ's on the CMP auction averaged $1900.00 +/-. The high was $3052.00, the low $1585.00.
I wonder how many more they have and where they came from.

$1643.00
See CCNL #357 for the total CMP UN-Q count. (It's between 50 - 75)
if its 50 - 75 it would have to be one of the rarest carbines made
Union Switch & Signal furnished 28,949 receivers to Quality Hardware & Machine Corp. between August 1943 and March 1944. The UN-QUALITY I restored had a 1-44 barrel.
If I was to choose a rare carbine that anyone could have bought, I would put Marcus's EXP A at the top of the list. One of two known. EXP B is in "War Baby" They are three groove prototype Winchesters.
Marcus bought it on GB five to seven years ago. I saw it and did not bid. Could not see a serial number stamped on the receiver from the pictures. It was there though.
Somebody's going to be very disappointed when they find out that it has a replacement barrel on it.
Does anyone else have a problem viewing the CMP auction site? All other cmp sites work just fine, but the auction site scroll, page up/down, moves extremely slow... Just saying.
