Interesting!..The US CMP is sponsoring vintage sniper matches. They currently have approved P14's with the Aldis scopes but so far no mention of the P14 (T) w/ the far more numerous M1918 scope (or approved reproduction). These availability of these mounts resolve the biggest hurdle.
The challege will be finding a scope of the right age and diameter that can be dismantled.
