Some good photos there, thanks for sharing. There are however, some glowing inaccuaraicies in some of the captions!
There is a shot of 'Borneo 1962 of: 'A Belt Fed Bren Gun'! (It's an L7 GPMG!)
& 'Apparantly' 'The MkIII, was a conversion of the MKI' !!!! HMMMMMM......whoever wrote the captions was well meaning, but didnt do his research! :D
Yes, I also noticed the GPMG. Now if it had been a TADEN...
A couple of pictures that caught my eye are the Polish troops in Scotland training with a MkII Bren and the Australian Bren in the foxhole in Korea. I liked the former picture as they are using sling clips, even though - AFAIK - one of the points of the MkII Bren was that it didn't need sling clips. I liked the latter picture as you see lots of the Lightgow MkI(m) guns upgraded with the MkII barrel on the UK deact market, but relatively few pictures of them in use.
Presumably the MkIII Bren being posed with by young 'Bluey' Clark in Korea would have been a British made gun?
I think his captions are wrong because he's taken the photos and captions from various parts of the web which were wrong in the first place.
