Gonna have a German day.

I know this is a little off topic with a black rifle but I roll from one rifle to another with the seasons. Next month I will be back at the M14 or 91/30 MN'.
Mud had the 200 yard line closed and after a half hour the wind was so strong it blew the target boards out of the metal frames at 100 yards so we got another fifty rounds on the 300 yards steel plates till the rain soaked us through. Just a guess but it felt like 30 mph with some strong gusts way over that. The sea is runing 20ft. waves and I stopped to watch for a time then the rain closed in again.
Got the fire started and the gear inside and the brass in the tumbler. Burned just over 100 rounds of 308, didn't even both with the 223 in that wind and rain. Pulled a few patches and dropped the bolt in the soak bucket for later.
Time for a G&T and a nap.

I'm still jealous of your range trip. Despite the ****ty weather.
Too bad the Canadian government would never trust me with such a rifle.
to one degree or another.

Stevo,
You lucky guy! Wish I was old enough to own one and get grandfathered in time. Nevermind being able to shoot it, but just own one.
One day when the laws change for the better I hope to be able to own a M1A (got this one on order already), FAL (perhaps a DSA Para) and G3SG1. :runaway:
Dimitri
So you can have it but not shoot it?
