Does anybody know offhand, when Century imported their Greener Mk.III's, did they alter them to modern 12guage? Or did they leave them in the original bottle necked, special grooved caliber?

I remember them being offered in Shotgun News 20+ years ago and they were not modifed and required what I thing was called the Greener shotgun shell. The firing pin was odd shaped and made me think of it being a rim fire cartridge.

Many were converted to 2 3/4" 12 guage, I just don't know if Century converted them, when they imported them or left them in original configuration?
I am not sure, exactly, when Century imported them? I know that Sarco imported them from Egypt.
In a 1997-2000 Shot Gun News Treasury publication Sarco advertized their Greener MK III Police Shotguns as having a special 14 ga. bottle neck shell for $150.
Century states that they imported them in 1995. They will not answer the question as to whether they converted them to standard shells though. They advise me to have my gun checked out by a gunsmith.
