Helping out a friend to establish a value of the Enfield he is looking to sell. I have checked GB and GA but who knows if they are actually selling that high.
Gun appears to be in good shape, missing the lanyard ring on the bottom of grip, and is dated 1941. I'll attach some pics that may help. Overall appears to be a pretty solid piece and I would like to have it as a mate to my Enfield rifle but we need a FMV. Thanks for the help.
Locating a spare Enfield revolver lanyard ring is a real problem nowadays and the revolver is not complete without it. Just bought one in similar shape likewise missing the lanyard ring for 120 dollars out the door. So--maybe 150 dollars as is, if you can replace the lanyard ring, make that 250 dollars. Yep a lanyard ring is worth 100 bucks if it is still attached to the gun!
Bought the same pistol with serial M35xx and 770 rounds of Israeli contract Remington ammo for $300 last weekend. Find a lanyard ring and $200-$250 seems to be the going price, depending on where You are located....Lanyard ring for sale on Ebay..check it out....P.S. What is an FMV????
