Need Help, slide jumping track
I have a 1943 Inland that is a nice rifle except the slide jumps the track all the time. I tried a different bolt, a different slide, 3 types of ammo, four different magazines including GI mags that work fine in other rifles, a spring that works well in other carbines but to no avail. It might cycle the first round but inevitably on the second thru fith round the slides disengage the bolt and jump the track. Rifle is clean, well lubed. Any suggestions? Could it be rough chamber? Does not look bad though.
Pictures of the issue i think
Check these pics out. Do you see a "bulge" in the top side of the track by the arrow or toothpick? I think that is my isue, what do you think?https://www.milsurps.com/images/impo...arbine02-1.jpg
