Because it is a 225 round belt it, looks like a Browning 1919 belt that was made by Israel military for the 7.62x51 conversion that they made to the Brownings.Quote:

Vickers originally had the brass projections for guiding the belt. They went to a thicker cotton web completely unlike the one shown. I agree this one is for the 1919 Browning.
