Pattern 1914 with W&S Scope

Would appreciate pictures of Pattern 1914 rifles with W&S scope as I've never seen a "real" example, except for these two:

Could it be that the ears of the Pattern 1914 had been cut to fit the W&S M1913 scope? I've read this thread and found someone mentioning modifications to the "ears" of the Pattern 1914.
