What type of stock Low or High wood on a Inland ser#2,997,xxx carbine?
highwood oval cut oiler slot
X 1 :)
And if you find some, pick up one for me for a 2953846.
This is the tock on Inland 2,954,xxx. It is a highwood, I cut. Is it correct for the serial number?

I know I've seen earlier serial numbered Inlands, supposedly correct, that had oval cut highwoods. One was #987,xxx. I would guess the I cuts would have continued to be used (mixed with the ovals) till they simply ran out of them. Easily putting them into that 2.9 mill. range. So I guess yes...correct.
Thanks for the help guys, mine has the Low Wood.
If it is RMC marked in slingwell I would say yes, but I would say to late if it was an H.I. or OI stock
Here's the sling well marking.
