Here we go again. Has anyone contacted Savage about this at all? As they weren't subject to bombing throu 2 world wars if any records are there then they could still be around.
Not the first time I have seen this rifle for sale. Can't remember who the last seller was but don't remember it being this firm. Way out of line for price without paperwork.

However I'll guess the 97XX serial number is actually 9735...LOL

There was one sold at the last australian arms auctions, or the one before, they were quick way of converting captured rifles, to useable weapons.Quote:
