I have bought some out of print books on car modifying (top chops, streetrodding etc) and have been very satisfied. They offer NOS (New Old Stock) and they also offer used in varuois conditions that sometimes are worth buying. Prices are usually good and shipping fast.

meh there not bad but i like eBay better
I ordered a book from Amazon some months ago: day it was released. Paid for it and everyone has their copy but me.....and I see it for sale on the Amazon site for three times the release price as a "rare book" now. They are having a problem finding it but could sell me one of the "rare book" ones WTF !!!!!!
What REALLY PI**'s me off is you go through the complete order process with Amazon for something and then get the message: do not ship to canada..
living in a small town with no bookstores, I buy all my books from Amazon and their affiliates. This includes books from the Canada, United Kingdom, Germany and the USA. There are some great deals. And, if you can't get it in one country try a different Amazon store. When it comes to affiliates who won't ship internationally, try a different affliate or cultivate a friend in the country they will ship to. The latter has worked for me. It might take a little longer but you still get the book you want.
