Only ever seen a few of these, but dont know much about them, thought it was home gaurd or maybe issued to Bren gun carrier crew ?

Are you sure they're for Bren? I thought I saw them before and they were named to something else...the name escapes me???? What markings?
No markings but heavy leather.
Same sort of build as the Vickers sight box.

They come up on Ebay now and again under Bren stuff but have not noted if/what they go for.
