Finally, something for my collection instead of ~Angel~'s ... :lol:

A VERY early 1936 production rifle with no letter "block" designation after the serial number. From the first producion year by Mauser Werke, Oberndorf. It is completely matching even down to the trigger housing screws and bandspring and stamped "DRP Ldsht" in the sling cutout.

Finally after many months without a new toy and having to dream about Badger's new toys I have a couple.

First my new to me SMLE Cond IV converted at Enfield in 1910 from an 1897 BSA
MLE Mk I. All matching except for the bolt, upgraded to Mk VII (HV) ammo.

Second, for the bayonet collectors out there, a very hard to find No.1 Mk II made by MIL. One of the rarer manufacturers that was not upgraded to Mk II*.

Here are this month's additions, a Valmet M78 LMG and a Yugoslavian M49/57 SMG:

As a cartouche man, I love butts, so when I saw this one for sale I paid more than I should of, butt it is one nice butt.

Stores date in upper left corner is "6/08"
Enfield "III" cartouche
Rack # "4105"
"HV" for High Velocity, thus upgraded to Mk VII sometime post 1912
"Commonwealth of Australia" cartouche (center territorial mark unreadable)
Sale mark

"H" marked for Heavy barrel.

She's a high number Springfield with 42 dated SA replacement barrel and keystone replacement stock. Along with an arsenal repark job.

Love that one :) I wish I could find that model converted from a Sparkbrook. I'd even settle for a MkI** IP if it used to be a sparkbrook made receiver... ;)
