Is the top one a SA? Narrow base sight, narrow ears and flat rear gas cylinder ring, gas cylinder lock screw? Wish we could see the rest.

Helmet Dog
We recently used that shot on the back cover of the GCA Journal, it's one of my favorite photos. I wonder if the GI could ever suspect that the helmet would someday be worth $1000 :) Value of the pooch? Priceless!
My former boss brought home a German mutt he named "Fleisch," kept him in Westchester until it got old and died. Lucky dog!
